The Peacock UVP presented at ISSF, Eindhoven

The International Symposium on Shallow Flows is the major meeting event in the area of environmental fluid mechanics and hydraulics, attracting primarily participants from academic and environmental research institutes. This 4th edition took place in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, from June 26th to 28th 2017.

More than 100 participants came together from all over the world to share about shallow flows and about 90 articles were presented. Marie Burckbuchler introduced our new Peacock UVP with the paper entitled "A Miniature High Resolution Velocity Profiler Applied To Shallow Flow Mapping".

A technical tour took place the last conference day. The fluid mechanics laboratory of the university of Eindhoven provided some very interesting demonstrations, like tidal dipolar vortices.

The conference dinner was held in the DAF museum in Eindhoven which offered a very nice environment and ambiance.
