Since 2012, Ubertone has been committed to promoting innovative research by students and PhD candidates through the Ubertone Student Award delivered at each ISUD edition.

This 2023 ISUD edition was no exception and we would like to thank all the students for their participation and effort.

The scientific committee of the ISUD Symposium gathered to evaluate the seven candidates, in terms of content, degree of innovation, quality of presentation and quality of question answering.

We are very happy to present this year’s winners of the Ubertone Student Award:

• An encouragement prize was awarded to:

  Mrs. Sana Maeda - Kobe University

  For her outstanding paper

  Effect of transverse magnetic field on rising bubble behavior in gallium eutectic alloy

• The first prize was awarded to:

  Mr. Kohei Ohie - Hokkaido University

  For his outstanding paper

  Flow prediction of complex fluids using rheometry coupled with ultrasonic velocity profiler
