The 9th W.A.T.E.R. Summer School (Workshop on Advanced measurement Techniques and Experimental Research) edition took place at Institute of Hydro-Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBW PAN) from the 1st to 5th of September 2025.

Ubertone develops measurement instruments for research and engineering. To allow students and researchers to discover or get more knowledge on measurement methods, Ubertone sponsored this year’s W.A.T.E.R Summerschool.

Organised under the wing of the IAHR Experimental Methods and Instrumentation Committee (EMI), it allowed students and participants to discover with hands-on experiments different measurement methods for hydraulics research and engineering.

During a field trip on the first day, at the coastal research station, we demonstrated the portability and easy-to-use UB-Lab P.

Amongst the exercise stations, Ubertone proposed a UVP and ADVP session on the outdoor meander flume of the local laboratory.
