Morphology and dynamics of subaqueous dunes generated under unidirectional flow by Iskander Abroug, Pierre Weill and Nizar Abcha was presented at the Conference Marid and River Dunes VII in April 2023 in Rennes, France.

The UB-Lab 2C (bistatic, ADVP) was deployed by the team of the University of Caen to measure two-component co-localised instantaneous velocity profiles and backscattered echo amplitude profiles, allowing the detailed study of flow and sediment dynamics over migrating dunes in a laboratory flume.

One of the next steps will be the calibration of the backscattered signal recorded by the UB-Lab 2C in order to invert the signal and obtain quantitative results concerning the concentration and the flux above the migrating dune.
